For many, it is that "good" that is the driving force behind all that they do. This is where Magic Penny purses give birth to infinite possibilities and something very beautiful is created. One could spend a lifetime trying to find the right combination of individuals to make a like convergence, but every so often things fall together in such a way where the chemistry is seamless. And such is the case with the powerful rock experience that is Alli Battaglia & The Musical Brewing Co.

Ranging from funky to folky with elements of jam and the blues, the band's stylistic approaches show tremendous diversity and maintain a genuine melodic quality. Influenced by the rock 'n' roll of the 60's and 70's the band has created a unique and refreshing sound that strikes a true chord in the spirit of this golden musical age. Live performances garner loyal fans and emit a passionate flare that is intimate and intoxicating, bound to whisk any willing traveler away.

Alli Battaglia (lead vocals, guitar)- With an unmistakeable vocal tone and a songwriting palate of many colors, Alli Battaglia is the driving force behind The Musical Brewing Co. Inspired to follow her dreams after surviving a near fatal auto accident, she decided to begin writing and performing. She is currently pursuing a Master's Certificate at The Berklee School of Music. Inspirations include The Dave Matthews Band, Live, Paul Simon, and Melissa Etheridge.

Brian "Gravy" Asher (lead guitar)- Chipped off the block of classic guitar heroes, Brian "Gravy" Asher engages audiences with his signature tone and melody-driven sound. Tasteful rhythms and out of this world solos put forth an ere of profound grace and symmetry and have earned him the '11 Chico Area Music Award for Best Guitarist. He ignited his reputation as a gifted performer with '90s jam bands Electric Circus and Puddle Junction. Over the years, Gravy's playing has been inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck.

Glenn Tucker (keyboards, background vocals)- Over a performance career that spans some 35 years, keyboardist Glenn Tucker is an energetic force to be reckoned with on stage. Owner of a M.A. in Music Composition, his inspired work with bands such as Dog Named Blue and The DeadBeats has earned a strong reputation amongst Northern California show goers. Some of his largest influences include The Beatles, The Grateful Dead and Yes.

Matthew Stratton (mandolin, cello, background vocals)- Adding colorful nuances to the music, multi-instrumentalist, and founding member, Matthew Stratton brings a touch of the unconventional to the overall sound. Whether it be through laying angelic cello pads or by crafting lively mandolin lines, Stratton adds that unique touch. Bela Fleck, Tool and Sly & The Family Stone have all had a strong influence on his sound.

Scott Hrapoff (bass)- Gifted with a genuine love for rock performance, bassist Scott Hrapoff has long been a part of the fundamental groove that makes this band thrive. Scott's pocket-heavy approach and knack for playing the right line for the right tune has also been displayed as a member of former Tooth & Nail recording artists Craig's Brother. Scott's influences range from Iron Maiden's Steve Harris to Victor Wooten.
